Check cable connection! PXE-M0F

Hello, I'm trying to repair a Toshiba satellite c50-A-1CK and I'm getting a black screen upon boot saying the following-

Check cable connection
PXE-M0f: Exiting Intel PXE rom
No boot able device -- insert boot disk and press any key

I've searched everywhere and can't find a fix. I have tried the following -

Try new hardrive

Try hardrive in a caddy

Try booting from recovery disk

Made sure the hardrive is in properly

And messed about in bios for a while


If anyone can help it would be much appreciated

that error is under the ethernet settings in the bios. someone has there ethernet set up to boot from a network. turn it off or set it nack to standered ethernet default settings and you be fine.

I'll give it a go now, I have tried reseting bios to default settings already with no luck

It won't even boot from a windows 8 disk through the cd drive or and external cd drive

Tried the ethernet options and still no luck

Any other suggestions would be great!
