Hi i have a MSi modern B13, after googing it seem i have onboard memory but,
after running gpu-z its saying i have the following :
Slot 1# and 2#
Samsung DDR4 8g 3200
Part number m471a1g44bb0-cwe

When running cmd prompt it is saying
C:\Windows\System32>wmic memphysical get maxcapacity
MaxCapacity
67108864

But crucial system scan is saying 8gig max non-removable

See gpu-z and cruicial pic below
Thanks

Just because memory is non-removable/soldered that doesn't mean it's not considered a "slot". In your case better contact MSI or you can check it by opening bottom cover.

I have known laptop manufacturers who obligingly hide components on the other side of the main PCB, requiring complete removal from the case, or under a metal screening cover. A SODIMM slot might even be hidden under the battery. Then again, you might be unlucky and find it's not upgradeable.

Thanks for the replies, unfortunately my bm13 is the same as the pic above linked by BFG-9000 .
Maybe the bm-H-13 is different, also confirmed by msi see below 🙁
"
For your MSI Modern 15 B13M, the supported memory specifications are as follows:
Onboard (soldered)
Max 16GB
DDR4-3200

The memory is onboard (non-removable) and cannot be upgraded or replaced.
We hope that our suggestions will help you. Thank you!"
