What does that mean? this is my first build btw. I wouldnt be doing any crossfire, but would you recommend a z97 msi board? Or do you think taking this board is perfectly fine for gaming and will give me no reason to get the more expensive one.

your reguler CPU fan will do fine for dispersing heat. you get one included in the processor box - you don't need the CM hyper TX3.
if it were me, to save money i'd get a cheaper i3 4130 with a cheap $40 h81.
then i'd switch my RAM to 1600MHZ. you're motherboard would artificially slow down your ram and the extra numbers don't mean squat for ram.
with those savings you could probbaly get a 280X or better.

how do you know my mobo would slow down my ram?
