Hello,

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with both of these switches and could give their opinions on each. I currently use a Cherry MX Brown keyboard and I really like it as I can feel the bump and that it isn't super loud.

I feel like trying out other switches and I do like the click sound on switches when typing. I was wondering, what would you guys recommend, Cherry MX Blue or Razer Green?

The two keyboards that I am looking at is the

Corsair Strafe Cherry MX Blue for $99.99

and the

new version of the Razer Blackwidow X which has the exposed aluminum body with Razer Green switches for $99.99 as well.

How different do Razer Green and Cherry MX Blue sound? Do they sound the same or is one louder than the other?

RGB is cool but I don't think it is worth it for me because I would most likely keep it a static color anyway, so that's why I am just thinking about these base single color models.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Used both, both sound click however imo the razer is more clicky. Currently I'm using a blackwidow chroma and am really enjoying the experience. I also agree that RGB is a waste of money :D but I got a good deal on my keyboard :). Both brands are good, but remember that custom key caps and key replacements are easier to get for any Cherry MX keys compared to own brand keys.
