Of course Windows won't run on it, at least not outside of a virtual machine... it's a MIPS chip after all, no x86. So you can only run Linux and other UNIX-style operating systems in little-endian MIPS builds. Not because of "China" specifically (even if they wanna get rid of MS Windows), but because of the CPU architecture not being supported by MS.
