Still more to come from China, As you can tell guys, China is showing great progress in making microchips without noise, i expect the microchip industry to face the Chinese mass production tsunami for all chip types within 1–2 years. TSMC, ASML, and all other major companies related to the microchip supply chain are in big trouble very soon.

I remember stories like this about the Soviet Union and how they were going to leap frog the west blah blah blah. Only about 10% of it ever came true. Most of it was PoC/mockups that they couldn't produce with any regularity.

I have a little more faith in China's abilities, but lets see if this actually works out to anything close to what is produced by other manufactures before we hail it a success.

I mean sanctions lasting impact don't really show up early.

its the logn run as you can't really progress as fast thus you slow & fall behind others (at least for a bit)

Nobody doubts China can make their own high end stuff...just its gonna be slower paced compared to competition for a long time.

As an American I am glad CHina is doing their stuff. We need variety and if in future CHina can compete vs the big guys on global scale? thats a win for consumers.
