I just put a smaller socket 7 HSF on the northbridge chipset and a small chipset/video card cooler on my southbridge. Is it not good 2 use a bigger HSF because I noticed a 7 degree C. temp rise.

Weird. First off, before mounting HSF to a southbridge chip, i'd see if it's even hot. I've never seen a southbridge get hot enough for a heatsink. The problem could be that your not making a good contact to the chip itself, therefore preventing airflow and breathing of the chip. Make sure your using thermal grease/compound. GOOD LUCK.

Im using Chomerics Thermattach pad so there good contact. Wierd, btw I installed the hsf cause I had them laying around and Im gonna OC tomorrow when I get my k6-3+.

i used the 2cooltek coper video cooler and the artic silver glue on my northbridge and i noticed that i could get my a7v up to 107 instead of the 104 i was stuck at. I moved my old green meanie to my southbridge.

As of three hours ago I succesfully brought my k7v up to 110 mhz. That's with pc133 memory (256 meg block) and an old athlon 500- now at 550. The agp still runs fine as well, it a guillemot xentor32 (tnt2U). I think it's because my chip heat sink is so large, that it covers and toutches my northbridge (and covers my first ram slot) but I think the two fans blowing air on the north bridge along with better heat transfer has made this possible. It's kinda cool to be able to overclock these things w/o taking my athlon's cover off.
