So I recently installed a new PSU in my Acer Nitro N50-600 and it worked just fine. Now, about a week later, when starting my computer, I got a windows screen, where I can either troubleshoot or turn off pc.

I have tries the things that are listed there and have found no luck. Any ideas?

If there is nothing you need to save it would probably be easiest to use an installer USB, load from it and use it to blow out the old install and then re-install. You may be able to use it to do a "repair this PC" but keep in mind it must be the same version of OS. Assuming Windows here.

Would it work with an external hard drive? I’ve got an Samsung portable ssd, and would I have to format it before or just download the windows installer?
