choose between ddr3 ram need opinions

Solution
When choosing RAM I usually go for highest frequency, next I go for the lowest possible CAS-latency, and finally I go for form factor. In this case the HyperX is a bit smaller, and could be used in other builds where lower dimm's is needed, so I would go for the HyperX kit.

I thought they both had CAS 9? But the timings are a bit tighter on the Ballistix kit, but I doubt that the difference will feel noticable. Anyways, color is always a personal choice, so if that is a factor you should get the Ballisitx kit I guess. They are both really good, and almost identical, I think you will be happy with either kit :)

Yes. Stick with what you have.
You can probably o/c that memory to 1800Mhz, but even at stock speed it will be fine.

I am using Asus Z-97-AR + 4690K@4.5 and Crucial 1600 bumped to 1800.
