I'm looking forward to build my second pc mainly just for gaming (csgo, pubg, and rpg games) but with increased prices on pc components should i choose :

1. ryzen 5 system which is cost about 1100$
2. intel i5 8600k system which is cost roughly more or less 1500$
3. or even wait for ryzen 2 cpu ?

my budget is pretty limited so which one should i choose ? and is it worth spending extra money on intel coffelake instead ryzen ?

Solution
The only real benefit for going with Intel is if you want over 120fps in demanding titles. So yes, ryzen is a good choice.

I'd choose the 1600X since you aren't overclocking.
We don't even know what Ryzen 2 has to offer yet, so I wouldn't wait unless you love AMD CPUs or you can wait without a problem for almost half a year.

Why is the 8600K system $1500 and the Ryzen 5 system $1100? Both should be way closer in price (unless the motherboard is $300 vs a $120 AM4 mobo).

i5 8600k cost 325$ and decent z370 260$ here, do you think is it worth getting over ryzen 5 system for casual gaming and many years to come ?
yes we don't even know what ryzen 2 has to offer but they said it will be released at April

so it is worth getting ryzen 5 over new intel i5 coffe lake ? performance on i5 is better but steep price
and what would you recommend ? ryzen 5 1600 or 1600x ? 1600 is only 10$ cheaper here and it comes with cpu cooler 1600x is faster than 1600 but no cpu cooler, the main reason i choose 1600x is because i don't plan to oc the cpu
