Choosing a gpu

Guys, if i had to choose between a gtx 1080 or gtx 1070 sli. one of them only. if i get the gtx 1080, maybe after a few months or a year then i can get another gtx 1080 for sli. if i choose the gtx 1070 sli, it will last long because its a sweet spot for 1440p 144hz. get the gtx 1070 sli or get a gtx 1080 and then wait to get the money for another gtx 1080 for sli.

my gpu will be EVGA FTW

i7-6700k
Gigabyte ga-z170x designare
Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3000mhz
Corsair h115i
Samsung 850 evo 250gb
Wd black 2tb
Evga g2 1000w

BOTH are good choices i say go with 1080 sli get one now and go for the other one after some time.HEY must tell getting 1070 sli is not a very bad choice too
