Solution

For the most part yes. Most games use only one or two cores as it is right now. Also the micro architecture of the I3 is pretty fast so the I3 can handle most games just fine. The only time the I3 starts to have some problems is in demanding games with huge multiplayer maps like BF3. If you are playing on a 64 player map with ultra high settings the I3 can start to struggle. For a budget though it's still a very good processor.
I would too. The 2120 has hyper threading which won't help in gaming but if you decide to ever doing anything else more CPU demanding in the future the hyper threading of the I3 will help. Also the I3 is slightly higer clocked. No 400 Mhz isn't huge but you can't overclock the Pentium or I3 so I'll take the 400 extra MHz for the extra speed out of the box, speed that can't be made up with overclocking.

I don't disagree with your points. All I am saying is that the G860 is a very capable gaming cpu that should be considered. It is up to the OP to decide what he is going to use his PC for and how much he can afford to spend.

May I suggest that you tell us how much you are willing to spend for your entire system? If you do so these guys will tell you the best way to spend within that amount.

guys another doubt..i already have nvidia xfx 9500gt 1 gb card.. can i use 2 graphics card in 1 pc..??? can i use ati hd 6670 and 9500gt ??? i dnt knw abt using 2 cards..!! plz help .. anybody

The Intel 2000 or 3000 HD graphics are both irrelevant to modern gaming graphics. To do modern gaming of any sort of even pretend seriousness you are going to want to spend at least a little bit of money to get a stand alone graphics card, for a real budget build you can get a card for around $80 on sale and with rebates that will blow either of these out of the water. Specifically between those two get the higher clock at 3.4 since the cpu c86 architecture is the same, and the on chip "gpu" will be disabled.

RDS1220 Please don't tell people false information Intel put out and is putting out a number of very low end budget based chips based on the Sandy-bridge architecture. These are celeron brand coded. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116409 I would once again say please stop providing just plain wrong info to people. Its not like these have just been out a week or two but have been released over a year.

Yes I know but the Celron is slow junk and has less cache than the Pentium or I3. I wouldn't get a Celeron for gaming when for a little more money you can get a Pentium or I3.

BTW I meant lowest end I would go for gaming, maybe you should think before you post or PM the person before you make yourself sound like an arrogant A-hole.

you are better of not worrying about the cpu right now with a lower graphics card like that. get a cpu cooler and overclock that E5200 to 3.2ghz. there are guides you can find to help you do it easy. then get the best graphics you can afford, hopefully atleast a HD7770.

that will make a big difference while you save up for a good cpu/motherboard down the line.

with a single air cooler ... can i overclock??? i dnt knw 2 oc..!!
i just tried 2 set bios.. (fan speed, dram v..etc) but aftr entering in bios.. i can't find these settings..!! my mb: intel dg31pr

you have about the easiest cpu to overclock. google for some guides. all you need to look for is Front Side Bus (FSB) and Vcore (cpu voltage) in the BIOS.
