Choosing between two budget Asus monitors!!

I'm planning on using this hooked up to my laptop and PS3 and putting it on a shelf or wall-mounting it. I like the idea of the speakers, but may find them unnecessary. The IPS would be ideal because I'll be watching the monitor when I'm on the elliptical at about eye level, and at other times sitting on the couch behind it, which is lower. The 21.5" IPS monitor is $145 and the other is $120. Is the smaller screen and IPS worth an extra $25? Or is it worth it to go for the $25 cheaper, slightly larger monitor?

I doubt that a PS3 can really take advantage of an IPS panel.

So then I should just get the bigger 23"? I'm not planning on using it with the PS3 as much as with my laptop. I thought IPS looked much better than just LED.

LED and IPS are two completely different categories. LED is how the light is produced and the IPS panel is what filters it to make the image. The 23" will be just fine.
