Question Choosing Fan Setup for NZXT H9 Flow Case: Stick with Pre-built Non-RGB Fans or Upgrade to PWM Fans?

I just bought a NZXT H9 Flow case for my new build, to pair with my other parts. With the fan situation, the pre-built ones are non-rgb regular DC black fans. Should I keep them, and connect them to a 3 way splitter? If so, will I still be able to control the speed of the fans with motherboard voltage regulation? Or would it be worth spending bucket loads (upwards on 60 GBP) on better fans with PWM?

How many case fan connections do you have on the motherboard? Wondering if you need a splitter.

As a default, I'd normally evaluate existing fans. If unhappy for whatever reason, change. I don't know if you have done that.

You can always buy new fans for reason X, but no one really knows what you would consider "worth it".

Are you highly averse to noise? Highly averse to temps? Highly averse to not having RGB fans? Just have an urge to spend for fear you are missing out on something?

I don't mind those 4 fans being non-RGB, to be honest. However, with the total cost of my build (2.4k GBP) I was just wondering if it would be silly to not go the extra mile and get those fans. However, I don't really mind like I've already said as I already have 3 Arctic ARGB PWM fans which will go on the bottom, and also RGB fans on my AIO cooler's radiator (Arctic Freezer ii 360 ARGB).

So, talking about a splitter as I only have around 3 headers on my mobo (B650 AORUS ELITE AX) - what type of splitter could I use? All the ones on Amazon are 4 pin/PWM splitters (even if cheap around 4 GBP for 2pcs) - but will I be able to use one of those with DC fans and still be able to control the speed of the lot with the mobo through the DC mode in the bios?

Thanks - and here is an example splitter product: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Litorange-...1-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1

(I just mainly want to be able to control those fan speeds via DC mode as well as them being plugged in)

Don't know anything about splitters and very little about your specific motherboard controls.

I certainly don't think it would be "silly" to evaluate stock fans before buying anything at all, and maybe you can discover what control you'd have on those stock fans at that time.

Not a big deal either way....also fine if you want to spend the money now. Your choice. You may have concerns that extend beyond temperature per se.

Right, ok.

One last question:

With this fan header, can I utilize it as just a regular PWM system/chassis fan?
