Choosing the RAM

So I want to build a new pc . I've got a AMD processor and an msi b350 pc mate mobo. I already have an 8gb 2666mhz ddr4 Adata xpg ram stick . Is it going to be compatible with the mobo?

So yes....but it will run at 2400 unless you OC.

and the manual shows...when you use one stick...to use DIMM Slot A2.
