Hello, everyone!

I'm thinking to install an SSD on my laptop but I'm totally clueless about where to begin. I do not even know if my laptop supports it. I have read up a few articles/Q&As and found out that any laptop with a 2.5 inch SATA port supports an SSD? I'm not sure though.

I want to install an SSD, preferably along with my existing 1TB HDD.

Questions:
  1. Does my laptop support SSD?
  2. If yes, then what kind of? There are various types like NVME, m.2, etc. The names are all I know about them. How do I know which is compatible with my laptop/motherboard?
  3. If you have answered the above two, any product suggestions?

Required Specs:

  • Laptop: ASUS VivoBook X570UF-EJ092T (In the specs, it only shows the HDD)
  • Motherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. X507UF N0CV1842MB0092585 1.0

Do you need 1TB of storage?
Most folks don't if they do a little regular cleaning.
