I have b450m s2h & r5 3600 and 2x8 3200mhz ram and cheap am4 cooler

Just basically buy r5 5600
or
buying cheapest ddr5 mobo (now it is gigabyte h610m h) + 16x1 ddr5 6000mhz cl38 ram + i3 12100f boxed (will use stock fan in this option)

Probably total costs will be similar. Can't predict exactly.

I know 5600 is better especially for some rendering stuff and e-sports game but
i thought ddr5 may have more options to upgrade again

the problem with H610 is that you are again limited to upto 14th gen CPUs. So not exactly an upgrade path.

the 5700X3D is great for gaming, I would suggest that if you can afford it.
Yeah that's a good point
But 5700x3d is kinda overprice i guess

I mean it seems not worth i guess

I guess selling cpu+ram+motherboard and buying 7500f would be better thanks to AM5 but I'm looking for cheaper

5700x still option but price/performance is too low i guess according to the 5600

And lastly, intel ddr5 that i mentioned

I drop off the links to let u see the local prices.
U can use that website and
U can also use this one

https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/cpu-hierarchy,4312.html

You are comparing 5000/5000X3D and 12th gen Intel.

See image 5 in the first chart group.

You have a prime premium over all the parts there in Turkey.

The 5700X3D will last you a good 3 years before needing an upgrade.

Regarding DDR4 vs DDR5:

https://www.tomshardware.com/features/ddr5-vs-ddr4-is-it-time-to-upgrade-your-ram

You are not loosing much anyway.

What you should ideally compare, if it is within your budget, 5700X3D vs i5 13400 on a B760 mobo with the same DDR4 rams.

Even then, i would say that the 5700X3D is the better choice - bang for buck.

No no i didn't compare intel 12th gen and 5700x3d
I said I guess 7500f/7600 would be better to go instead of 5700x3d, i said for new chipsets and new rams. (Probably going new mobo and 7500f option will be a little bit more expensive)

I guess 5700x3d better but i dont know how much difference

Btw Idk why but there is no 5600x3d in here, and never came before.

I didn't understand what you mean in that sentence

Btw I'll probably need a new cooler if i go with any cpu which as strong like 5700x3d. And do u think b450m s2h is good enough? It is entry level mobo i guess
But yeah, here is the another point. I think some cheap b550 motherboard has good price if it is worth it.

The 5600X3D is US exclusive, or i should say Micro center store exclusive.

You can see the 5800X3D geo mean FPS in the page 5. the 5700X3D should be a few fps lower.

And sorry, I meant to say "price premium".

If you plan on getting a new mobo, might as well get the 7500F and B650 with 6000mhz CL30 ram sticks. You can at least upgrade the CPU later down the line. Always go for 2 x ram sticks. You want to be running your system in dual channel mode.

https://www.akakce.com/islemci-sogu...ssin-120-se-cpu-tl-c12c-fiyati,340209419.html

^ Try that for a new CPU cooler.

I would suggest this mobo: https://www.akakce.com/anakart/en-u...s-amd-am5-ddr5-micro-atx-fiyati,79009503.html

And sorry, I meant to say "price premium".
Ig price premium is like a technical term, I don’t know its meaning. But I’d say it is sometimes too high thanks to high tax rates.

Am5 or 5700x3d seem hard to go with it for me now.

So, I’ll probably go with ryzen 5 5600 for some time. Then I can go with am5 (or newer ones) later maybe like 1-2 years later. It will cost me like 1250 to 1400 try(35-40 euro if I convert ) after selling 3600.

Btw I meant these pieces in the topic
https://www.akakce.com/anakart/en-u...-lga1700-ddr5-micro-atx-fiyati,391779636.html

https://www.akakce.com/ram/en-ucuz-...l38-flbd516g6000hc38a01-fiyati,191558936.html

https://www.akakce.com/islemci/en-u...kirdek-3-30-ghz-kutulu-fiyati,1731196584.html
If I go with these ones, it will also cost like 1100-1500TRY(like 30-43 euros) btw need using intel stock fan, I don’t have lga1700 bracket now.

And btw I was using 2060, I bought used 6600xt. I’ll probably go used 6700xt or 6800/6800xt or 3070 if I find good price and if i can sell these gpus (2060 and 6600xt) for sure 😂 The buy and sell market is a little sluggish nowadays.

Btw thanks for all recommendations and the efforts u gave!

Do u think going with 5600 is wasting or worth it ? I mean with 6600 xt or 6700 xt? I watch some tests and it made me a little confused. In some videos it seems so close though in some other videos there is kinda solid difference.

No.
Do not go near that H610. Even for a 12100 the H610 is trash.

Why do you want to ditch DDR4, when it's comparable in speed to DDR5 and costs less? Maybe next year DDR5 will make more sense for a new PC, but right now DDR4 is a better choice when on a budget.

If you buy CHEAP DDR5, then you're getting no benefit at all, only cost.

Improve your existing PC is what i suggest.

I would not invest in 12100F with DDR5 rams and new mobo.

The performance gains are not worth it.

The H610 mobo has very weak VRMs and the maximum that it will support without thermal throttling is the 13400F.

if you go 5700X3D, you can have your next CPU/mobo/ram upgrade in 3 years instead of 1 to 2 years. Thats the benefit.

Just to add to @Lucky_SLS posts, the 5700x3d is the easy choice here. No 'if's' 'ands' or 'buts'. It a simple choice. It will give you the best boost and for little outlay. It will keep you solid in gaming for 2-3 years as highlighted.

Don't waste money on a 12th Gen intel system. Costs more, and is only a side-grade at most. Not an upgrade.
Yeah I won't go with h610 d5

5700x3d could be good but it is kinda expensive in here, i can't afford it for now.

So now Im considering is 5600 worth it to upgrade or meaningless. It will cost me like 1250TRY (35 EURO if I convert ) after selling 3600.

As I said before, Im gonna use 6600xt for some time, then I can go with used 6700xt and less likely 3070/3070Ti/6800/6800xt soon

My monitor is 1080p btw, aoc 24g2spae/bk

Do u think do I need to keep my 3600 until i can go something like 5700x3d or 7500f to 7800x3d
Or is it worth it to change with 5600

The change to a vanilla 5600, or is the 5600g? Either way, they are slightly cut down versions with less L3 cache which can affect gaming performance. IMO, the 5600 is possibly more of a sidegrade than an upgrade.

cheapest effective upgrade path depends on what your trying to do

if you want full future proofing your better of with am5

if you want to do a minor upgrade

swapping out the b450 with a b550 motherboard would open up the door to

pci gen 4

and pci gen 4 speed nvme

that and you can upgrade to either a x3d cheaper for gaming or a 12 core cpu depending on what your doing

personally i would go 12 core if you stream etc

Let me ask you this question, did you try using AMD FSR in demanding games?

If you don't get the performance even with FSR, I would say save up and get the 5700X3D.

With the 5700X3D, 6650XT and FSR you can definitely get 100+ fps without RT even in the most demanding games.

This means you just have to wait a bit more on the GPU upgrade.

Save up and get the 5700X3D. That's the best move for gaming performance on a budget.
