[citation][nom]Tedders[/nom]Really? New version of a browser comes out and everyone is more concerned with the damn logo rather than the new features of the browser? Wow.[/citation]
Given Google's questionable version naming scheme, it's quite possible the logo change is more significant than the rest of the changelog put together.
[citation][nom]ericburnby[/nom]I can see why they changed the logo. Old one reminds me of Hal looking over your shoulder. Google probably doesn't want a logo that reminds people of a thinking computer that'll take over the world some day.[/citation]
That's a stretch. A BIG stretch.

Yea HAL was a punk, now GlaDOS... SHE you should be scared off, the promise of cake that is never delivered is just cruel 🙁
[citation][nom]jednx01[/nom]This is news? Rofl. I've been using that logo with my beta version for months...[/citation]
I've been using it even longer with the dev version. Seriously, Tom's should start reporting when it first hits. Something like "next chrome version to use new logo. I'm on version 12.0.742.9 now.
10 was -not- stable for me, I'll see if 11 is better, I had no less than 20 BSODs using chrome 10, before I conclsively tracking it to chrome/flash issues. Been using IE9 for a while now.(except to place this post arg, fix the button)
I have had this for like 1-2 months (BETA) and its an improvement.. looks nicer on my desktop..besides if you don't like it go change it in the properties of google chrome on your desktop.. there's even a canary version of it..
