Chrome continues to improve technically. Very impressive. I don't get why its usability pales in comparison. Firefox leads by a significant margin in this area. Too many things that I do repeatedly are less convenient, more annoying, or simply impossible in Chrome.

* Can't use tab key to select items in the URL combo box -- it's necessary to move hand to use arrow keys. Stupid.

* Can't use middle mouse button to open a new tab for everything. In Firefox I can do this from the Back button menu and almost everywhere else. I use this constantly.

* Back and forward buttons require that you hold them to get the menu. I hate this. Again, Firefox's solution is much faster and more responsive.

* Simplicity? More like lack of customization.

But damn, it is fast and technically impressive.

ever tried using the search text function in chrome? (cltr-f), its has the best search capability of all browsers. i never miss text or scroll up and down looking for the highlighted text, it marks their location on the scroll bar! i permanently switched to chrome because of this.
