Hello, so i recently decided to benchmark my Asus ROG G551vw using Cinebench R20, and it surprised me that my scores are actually lower than they should be. My laptop managed to get 1130 pts on the first run, 1078 on the 2nd run and 1097pts on the 3rd run (after I gave it a little breather). The CPU never got any higher than 2.4 GHz and the temp never got higher than 90. The same CPU is rated for 1647 pts. Is this normal ?

Here are the specs:
Asus ROG G551vw
Intel i7-6700HQ @2.6GHz
16 GB DDR4
GTX 960m 4GB VRAM

90°C is pretty toasty just 10°C off the 100°C limit that the i7-6700HQ has, so there is a possibility that the processor is thermal throttling to protect itself from the heat.
