Hey everyone, I'm new to overclocking and am just trying to get a baseline reading in cinebench R15 I'm running a ryzen 5 1600x on a rog strix x370-f, 16gb corsair vengence lpx 3000. Recently when I run the cpu test the screen will shortly lock up 2-3 times during testing. It finishes each time with a score around 1200-1220.

Is it normal for cinebench to stutter like that or am I already seeing signs of instability running default bios settings?

Solution
Set everything to default including ram speed 2133, run the test again. After it is stable, gradually increase CPU frequency and voltage first, realbench/aida64 test your combination. After CPU is stable, play with ram.

Everthing is set to optimized defaults no XMP. I did notice that it was running the ram at 2133 so I tried running D.O.C.P, profile 5 (2933), the first go with cinebench went smoothly, but stutter returned with subsequent tests. Then I tried reverting to defaults and only changing ram frequency to 2933, but still had the stutter.
