[citation][nom]maddad[/nom]The Android/Google fans are a whiny bunch, but they read every Apple article that's written.[/citation]
Yeah we do! Its fun to watch Apple crumble.

[citation][nom]otacon72[/nom]I feel the love! Paid to argue? Hell no... I'm just tired of the iHaters here whining about Zak. Zak reports news about Apple... not sure why people aren't able to comprehend this. If you don't like articles about Apple then don't read them and especially don't whine and act childish RE:[/citation]Too bad you don't have the critical judgement to determine what is news from what is Zak's opinion.

Wow I'm glad Citi finally figured it out. Buy when its low and sell when its high. How much do you think they were paid or stand to gain by saying that after drops like this things typically rise 50%!

Its greed like this that make the people hate large corporations.

Tom's: you're really disservicing yourself and cheapening your name by publishing this stuff. You're borderline aiding pump-and-dump ala 2007 and 1999. I understand you need to cover Financial Tech news as well but IMO this does not qualify. Cease and Desist

Its a well known fact that financial firms who grow weary about a share tells everyone to buy them so that they can sell their own shares at its highest possible price and then they will laugh when the share crash and burns and everyone who heeded their advice got raped, whats new? Do people really still believe in such lies?

I don't think they have. Until they can prove they've got a new product that can be as successful as the iPhone and iPad, I think they're riding a slow wave out of town.

The problem with Apple is that they went for the quick buck with their products. They were greedy, and tried to milk every dollar they could out of it in the short term. Now the well is drying up.

What could they have done differently? In 2007, maybe even as late as 2009, they had the best mobile OS. They could have pulled a Microsoft and licensed out their OS to other hardware manufacturers. Made money off the OS + all the software sales through their app store.

The money would have been slower in coming at first, but they could have basically blocked Google and MS from the market. That would have been playing the long game. They didn't do that, and now they have to hope they can come up with something new.
