My friend have a cl16 ram and a cl18 ram
so in order to make them run in dual channel
he has to change the timings to be the same as the cl18 (since you cannot make a timing lower)
so i need help with configuring the ram timings

the 2 ram model name: HX432c16FB3/8
HX432c18fb2/8

AMD RYZEN 5 2400G
ASUS TUF B450M GAMING PLUS

Note: when enabling XMP the pc goes into a repair loop and just lags alot.

Solution
alright
but for safety
do you have any tutorial link?
no i mean use the cl18 ram and copy all the timing, and plug in the cl16 ram, enable xmp, then re write the previous timings from cl18 ram (all primary to teritary) and go to voltage/overclock settings, find soc voltage, set it to 1.125v. save and exit.

enable xmp and match all the timings from cl18 (primary, secondary, teritary), and increase the soc voltage to 1.125v

alright then
my friend isn't available and the moment
so i checked the ram datasheet and it says
• JEDEC/PnP: DDR4-3200 CL18-21-21 @1.2V •XMP Profile #1: DDR4-3200 CL18-21-21 @1.2V •XMP Profile #2: DDR4-2933 CL17-19-19 @1.2V

is that it or is there something missing and it is necessary to use cpu-z?

Do you have the latest bios and chipset driver?
Have you tried clearing the bios and letting it go through it's initialization cycle?

now i copied the CL from the Cl18 ram by doing like u said
now im on bios and now which xmp profile should i enable and edit into

Sorry, i was busy attending college. if it's offset, then try to increase it +0.125 (default is 1v something, doing this will increase the soc volt to 1.125v).

Have you tried to update the bios to the latest? I usually prefer to update the bios to the latest and do the settings etc.

yes latest bios
i yesterday made it +0.25 so I'll change it to 0.125
and opened cpuz found out the ram in slot 2 and slot 4 are different in timings and voltage
do you have discord or any communicating app so we can communicate better?

Mixing RAM modules isn’t a good idea, especially when their specs are different.
Even if it works in the beginning, there’s no guarantee that it will work in the future.

My advice:
Please sell your modules, and buy a RAM kit.
