Whats the differents between CL2 memory and CL2.5 And Cl3?
I will buy some ddr ram but it's some big price differents the memory between. Has this Cl thing much to do with the prestanda?

CL2 faster than CL2.5, CL2.5 faster than CL3
that's about it
the difference? ok, let's say two computers, one with AthlonXP1800+ with CL2 RAM, one with AthlonXP1900+ with CL2.5 RAM
they would probably perform the same, or almost
see the difference?
it's always recommended to by CL2 memory, to maximize your system's performance, but it depends also on your mobo/chipset.

The CAS latency is how many clock cycles the memory waits for the registers to settle down before it strobes the columns to read the memory data. CAS means Column Address Strobe. The faster (2) the wait , the less time lost during the read. The less time lost, the faster the data transfering.
Hope this helps<
