I might decide to get 2 graphics cards and so when deciding on motherboard I look at the PCI expansion slots section, bandwidths and the rest of it. Don't know exactly what it all means, I just know that I want 2x 16.
This is what one motherboard says
3 x PCI (32 bit)
2 x PCIe 2.0 x1
2 x PCIe 3.0 x16
Does that mean it will run 2 graphics cards x16 each and both? Don't want one of them being inefficient otherwise I just stick with 1 graphics card
This is what another motherboard says
4 x PCIe 2.0 x1
1 x PCIe 3.0 x16
1 x PCIe 3.0 x4
1 x PCIe 3.0 x8
Does that mean it will run 3 graphics cards at x16, x8 and x4? <<< Don't want.
Can anyone recommend an "efficient" motherboard that has the 2x 16 SLI option without the extra PCI 2/3 slots, because I have no intention of ever getting 3 graphic cards
