Clean install of Windows 10

Hello all,

I decided to clean install Windows 10 again, however, I keep getting an error message while booting to my USB, which has the ISO file of Windows 10 64 bit on it. I have an MSI Gaming motherboard, however, I am not, for some reason, able to make my motheboard boot to my USB drive; instead, it simply shows an error message with a blue screen. What do I do?

The iso isn't bootable. Unpack the iso.

Use rufus to to unpack the iso: https://rufus.akeo.ie/

Easy to use. Default it should be set to GPT partition scheme for UEFI and file system as Fat32. Direct Rufus to your iso and should be good to go after it's done.

Usb device is not bootable, make it bootable and make the first boot device as usb in bios and try.

Thanks so much for your help! The only problem is that the computer which I am trying to fix is the only Windows computer in my household. How do I make my USB drive bootable on my computer, the Windows?

How did you copy the iso to the usb? Clean install of Windows 10 means you'll need to boot from usb first to format/partition etc, what happened to your working Windows that you can't use it?.
