Hey guys.

So I just built a new PC - Ryzen 5 1600 and Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming Mobo with a Samsung 860 QVO 1TB SSD. I used a flash drive to clean install windows 10 and everything works fine, but now my bios shows the boot priority as follows:

I only have one ssd installed, but it shows up in my bios boot priority as Windows Boot Manager (P6: Samsung SSD 860 QVO 1TB) and it also shows up in the second boot priority as P6: Samsung SSD 860 QVO 1TB. I tried disabling the Windows boot manager one but it would not boot to windows at all when I tried that.

I've never seen this before, any ideas? Ideally I would just like it to show the hard drive without the windows boot manager entity.

Thanks!

Solution
Thanks! I guess I did install it in UEFI mode then. Is that pretty much the new norm?
Yep. All my UEFI builds have that same format. The boot manager is on as seperate partition, so it looks like another "drive". When you get to the desktop, open Disk mamagement. You'll see that C: drive contains a EFI partition.
