Hey guys,

I've got a pc with Windows 10 on it. The OS was installed a year ago by someone and the license expired after six months. This is not a problem because I got a key for the same version of Windows (Windows 10 Pro) and I'm planning to perform a clean install.
My OS is currently on an HDD, but I'm planning to reinstall it on the new SSD I've just bought. I've got a Microsoft account on which my pc is listed as a device and I also have a Windows local account on this device.
Is there anything I should do regarding these accounts before I proceed with the clean installation of windows?

Solution
So ..
you had windows 10 installed (unactivated),
then you installed windows 10 pro (activated) on HDD,
now you want reinstall windows 10 pro on SSD
(all of that on same pc).
Am I understanding this correctly?

Anyway - if you had windows 10 pro installed (activated), you can reinstall it on same pc as many times as you want.

Also - if you wanted to avoid reinstallation, you could just clone hdd to ssd (if SSD is large enough).

Sorry about that.
It was a brand new HDD on which someone installed Windows 10 Pro. The license was active for six months after that it expired.
Recently I bought a new SSD and a Windows 10 Pro key and I'm planning to do a clean Windows install on the SSD. I'm planning to use the HDD for personal files storage (same pc).
I was just afraid there will be issues with the Microsoft accounts if I do this.
I know about the cloning thing, I just wanted to start everything fresh.
Thanks for your quick answer!
