I made a rookie error and cleaned inside my PC without unplugging it from the power supply. The PC starts but there is no signal. I tried removing the gpu, also plugging hdmi into alt receiver on pc, still no signal. The motherboard has a red light in the top right corner and I am not sure if that was always so. What are my options and what can I do?

Thanks

Solution
TURN off the power supply power button from the wall and unplug it
1st take out the memory clean the contact
2nd take out the GPU and clean off all those accumulated dust and clean the contact.

Use a pencil eraser to clean up the contacts!
DONT TOUCH THE CONTACT AFTER CLEANING IT!
