Cleaning ESD Anti-Static Mat help

I have a dirty anti-static workbench mat that needs to be cleaned. Is it possible to use water and a mild soap to clean with or do I need the specific cleaners that are made for cleaning anti-static surfaces? Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

Mild soap and water should be fine. Wipe down with just water after cleaning to remove as much soap residue as possible.
