Question cleaning up video

I know that it's impossible, but when downloading a video and then watch it later. How the video display quality is not so clear. Is there a software that let u clear up the quality is the video

Do you mean blurry and not focused properly?

Not much you can do about that as far as I know. Best idea would be to find and download a better version. That might be impossible.

You can use video editing programs to change certain things.....contrast, color balance, brightness, etc. You'd have to experiment to see how much those might help.

Well, i figured that. i been getting Saturday live 20 seasons 1080-1995, but for some reason, they quite putting them on dvd and that sucks. they got 1975-1979- 5 seasons on dvd and i have them but from 1980-1995 they just quit for some reason, Now these here https://fastzer.com/search-movies/Saturday+Night+Live/page-1.html is they best i can go. So I thought that there are software to clean i up the video looks

As so, i downloaded the season of Saturday Night Live from 1980-1995.
So when i downloaded hem, the video is good but not to good, the pixels and quality in the video isn't all good, not as clear as a normal video. If you are trying to download videos from 1980 to 1995, the quality is not going to be the best. Technology has changed a lot since then… It all depends on how it was recorded. I’m willing to bet they didn’t have 4K cameras back then.

Since the data that would make it higher quality doesn't exist, your only option would be some kind of AI upscaling. You could try something like Topaz or AVCLabs, but for significant usage, it'll cost you a few hundred dollars.

I've used Topaz Video Enhance AI fairly extensively, I've got good results upscaling and cleaning up noisy video. I would suggest you try the free trial and see what you think:

I would recommend you start with the Artemis AI, either the low or medium preset. This is a pretty resource heavy program though, to process any significant amount of video in a timely manner requires a powerful GPU and CPU.

Yeah, as Nighthawk notes, this is serious work. Creating new data where none exists is a resource intensive task.

But it can be wonderful. I'm still gobsmacked by this AI upscaling of an 1890s video of a train stop in France.
