Question Clearing Cache/Cookie Remove Items in Chrome Reading List?

Does clearing cookie or cache remove items in Chrome's Reading List?

(I don't want to assume too much that it stores memory like Bookmark does)

I don't think so, if it does, there should be a checkbox allowing you to leave the reading list alone.
