Hello,
I just installed a new 2.1 audio system - Edifier M3600D.
When I use optical audio there are clicking noise sounds in the following cases:
- setting the audio format to the lowest 16 bit, 44,1kHz
-updating the audio drivers (Realtek_AudioDriver_Win7-10_V6018158_20170607)
-disabling fast startup
-setting Minimum processor state to 100%
-disabling all sound effects
-LatencyMon
No problems when I use analog stereo input
Please help!
I just installed a new 2.1 audio system - Edifier M3600D.
When I use optical audio there are clicking noise sounds in the following cases:
- when I enter folders on my windows 10,
- when I start youtube clips,
- when I start or stop some movie on any of the players installed on my PC.
- the noises do not happen during already playing movie/music/gaming
- the only workaround is if I start a youtube video, movie or music and let it run. I can also mute it. Then there are no clicking noises at all. When I stop the running movie or clip, the noises reappear after 10-15 seconds.
