Question clicking anwhere in fullscreen app causes explorer to show up

Hey all

Many a problems have been fixed by lurking Toms Hardware forum, this time however I can not find someone who had the same problem so finally making a post after many years

Ran some windows debloating scripts from [questionable download link removed] , now whenever I click inside a game the taskbar flashes?? the application that is fullscreen does not maintain priority>? video of what I see is here:

tried restore point, tried undoing the debloater scripts and still have the issue.

any help appreciated

Uninstall/completely remove the debloater tool.

Look in Task Manager, Resource Monitor, and Task Scheduler to ensure that the debloater has not left something else launching and running in the background.

Process Explorer (Microsoft, free) may help find some culprit.

Then try "sfc /scannow" and "dism" to, hopefullyl, clean things up.

Re: only OpenGL games

Likely some logic or coding bug and/or error in the script(s).

May or may not get fixed. May or may not negatively impact other games at some time in the future....

Depends on who developed the script and what their intentions may actually be.

Noted that the debloater script download link was edited out: Very much agree with that.

Be careful about where you get scripts, etc..

Keep an eye on things....
 
trying to reformat my system now and BIOS does not produce a display signal. trying to change boot order

definately not recommending scripts from Ben Cybulski and Free Time Tech
