Question Clicking sound coming from PC

Forgot to add but the PC also clicks for a split second if I shake it. The only reason I haven't put this in the GPU forum is because I don't know for sure if it's coming from the GPU or the fan near it.

Roll up a sheet of A4 paper into a cylinder, hold one end of the cylinder to your ear while the other end is used to probe for the source of the sound. It sounds like a fan's bearing going out.

You could also pay attention to the drive activity LED on your case, if that's sync'd with the noise.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:

Do you have any mechanical hard drives in system?
For PSU info - you have open up your pc and read model name from info label printed on PSU
(or make a photo and show here).

Can you show a photo of your system with side panel removed?

It's 100% not coming from the PSU, and I don't even know where it is and I have no HDDs in my system.

PSU is below graphics card - under metal shroud.
PSU might be accessible from the other side (metal side cover, not glass side cover).

CPU cooler looks like standard AMD cooler - wraith stealth.

There should be thumbscrews at the back of pc case.
You unscrew them and then you can remove side panel.

I'm hearing the clicking sound constantly now, not just while I'm playing a game.

Use the paper tube method as suggested by @Lutfij in post #2 to pinpoint the source location of the clicking.

Also add a couple of pictures showing the motherboard and surrounding case components.

The sound just suddenly stopped when I tried it, and it's not coming back. I'll keep you updated if it does.

If the sound has returned then use, as suggested, the paper tube to pinpoint the source.

However, if the sound stops if the case is opened then I would suspect there is some relationship to fans and air flows.

Right when I thought it was fixed it came back. Here's the pictures.

Try to stop fans for a short time with your finger and see, if sound stops.
Touch in the middle of the fan until it stops for a short time (cpu fan and rear system fan).
DO NOT TOUCH fan blades or you'll hurt your fingers!
