Laptop hinge sound

I’m a bit worried about my MSI thin, it’s eight months old and there’s a slight clicking sound as in the video.

I’ve been exploring and see that MSI have problems with their hinges.

Is mine likely to fail soon? It’s not broken, the hinge is fine just that sound.

What should I do, if anything?

You might want to roll up a sheet of A4 paper into a cylinder, holding one end up to your ear. Use the other end to probe for the source of the sound. If it's the hinged areas, you have proof that it's coming from that area.

Since you should be under warranty for the laptop, you might wan to keep your seller and MSI in the loop in case you might need to RMA the laptop due to spotty build quality.
