I think it's the caps lock key. ;)

Seriously, I think most of the ones I've had (none very recently though)
have been related to sounds, so maybe make sure your sound card drivers
are not corrupted.

I HAVE had problems w/sound lately! I get liek a weird spacd out noise
that clears up if I go into or out of war mode.

Not sure how to fix it though. I have the current Direct X version and
my computer came w/out sound card drivers. Any ideas?

....hm. Tonight I noticed the game was playing really choppy, a lot
more lag than usual. In fact I haven't had this much lag in months,
especially around monsters. Probably something to do with Pub 29, I'm
afraid.

I noticed some lag in Brit on GL yesturday. MAJOR LAG!! The client basiclly
froze for about 10 - 15 seconds and then it started doing that rubber band
effect for about 5 - 8 seconds. Then cleared up. Considering I was in the
middle of a huge battle, I was releaved to see I was still alive at the end
of that. GL Tram Brit is being over run in case anyone cares to know.

Well, Windows must have figured the hardware out and supplied default
drivers if you're hearing sounds now. Still, if you're just using the
onboard sound chipset you can probably go the computer maker or
motherboard maker's website and download newer drivers.

Your comp came w/out sound card drivers?

Anyway, one fix is to turn off the music. The toggle should be right
there when you open 'options' from your paperdoll. I sometimes crash
from sounds, but the music is pretty buggy.

I have sound music off, sounds on, and I never crash.
