Well, before leaving Epic he was talking about focusing on PC gaming so he might be working on PC exclusive.

I'm undecided whether I care or not... I wouldn't mind it if the world stopped referring to him as "Cliffy B." It's the most ridiculous thing I can think of at the moment, especially if he's "worried" about legacy.

Don't worry, Cliff...I haven't forgotten about Unreal/UT. I've never even played Gears of War, but I've spent a lot of time playing UT.

This is the man that said the single sentence that runs completely counter to everything I care about in video games and media in general:

"Stories in games are like stories in pornos; necessary but not essential."

I could not care less about what this man chooses to create until he changes his stance. Thankfully, if history is any judge, he'll either change it or go quickly out of business (I'm speaking of the history of photography and cinema, not his personal history).

He wants to make PC games? I thought the Epic guys don't like PC anymore because of its excessive piracy. I thought that's why only the first Gears of War is on PC and none of the others.

Regardless of any personal biases on either side, I'll be eagerly waiting to see more of his new project - if I've enjoyed a lot of his past work, so I'll definitely give this a fair chance.

Apparently his "much needed break" was really just a much needed break from Epic.

The F2P revolution means that PC is cool again. There's ample investment from the outside, direct profit to developers who have the clout/financing to bypass a publisher, no piracy, no licensing fees.......
