Hello! I've recently bought a new pc that I sent back to the warranty, after 1 month, because the ssd was damaged which they replaced for a new one. Now that I got the pc back after I installed the os I get random freezes which sometimes lead to bsod with the error "clock watchdog timeout", other times just freezes and i have to shut down the computer.
Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

Motherboard Asus B450
Cpu AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (3.6GHz-4.2GHz) Socket AM4
Gpu Asus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6GB
Ram 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200MHz
New ssd is a GIGABYTE M.2 512GB nvme

Thanks in advance

try updating bios and chipset drivers?

Can you follow option one on the following link - here - and then do this step below: Small memory dumps - Have Windows Create a Small Memory Dump (Minidump) on BSOD - that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

Open Windows File Explorer
Navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump
Copy the mini-dump files out onto your Desktop
Do not use Winzip, use the built in facility in Windows
Select those files on your Desktop, right click them and choose 'Send to' - Compressed (zipped) folder
Upload the zip file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox . . . etc.)
Then post a link here to the zip file, so we can take a look for you . . .

Turns out that installing a more recent build of windows seem to have fixed the issue for me. System seems stable so far. Thank you so much for the suggestions nevertheless!!
