I have just bought all my new PC parts and I don't want the hassle of going into my old SSD and moving all the files (10 years worth of files, programs, games, pics, music, documents) over to my new M.2

I have watched lots videos on how to do this and I am completely confused. How Do I do this? Can someone please provide step by step on what I have to do with Acronis? Thanks all.

Well you really should plan on dong a clean installation. Once you have done that, simply attach the old storage drives and drag and drop.

And once you do that, backup all your data if you have not yet done so, otherwise sooner or later all your data will go poof.

You really only need Acronis or an equivalent to do...

You really only need Acronis or an equivalent to do cloning, which is NOT the best way to go from a very old build to a new M.2 based build. It's worth the effort to do the clean install. Such tools are best for just swapping out to a larger drive. Some effort now will save a lot of problems later.
