I used Samsung Migration tool, it was the only one that would let me boot. I tried the Intel utility and it wouldn't let me boot. I see it doesn't take my Recovery or System reserved partitions. Is this okay? Can I wipe the old SSD? Here's the screenshot of the partition setup. Disk 2 is the old SSD, disk 1 is the new SSD. https://imgur.com/a/YmNGu Thanks!

Solution

If it boots up with only the new 500GB installed, then you are fine.
Wipe the old one and use as desired.

Before wiping anything, disconnect ALL drives except the new SSD.
Does it boot up?

Boots fine. my main concern was System Reserved Partition and the recovery partition. There is still a 500MB partition on the new SSD but it doesn't specifically say "recovery partition" or "system reserved." Will this be okay?

What about the two partitions that are missing? System Reserved and Recovery? I really don't want to wipe the drive until i'm confident that the 500gb drive will be 100% fine.

If it boots and runs from only the new drive, you're fine.
