First time cloning my C drive.
Goal is simply to upgrade my current C drive (Samsung 512GB NVMe) to newer, larger and faster 2TB NVMe.
I've purchased a NVMe enclosure and plan on using Samsung Magician to first clone my C Drive to this externally mounted 2TB drive (via USB) and then replace the current drive mounted on my motherboard with this cloned drive.

Before cloning I want to first partition this 2TB drive into two 1TB partitions.
What tool or software should I use to do the partitioning? Just use diskpart or?
Any other tips or suggestions?

Clone first, make partitions later. When you clone it, it will take only part of lager disk same size as drive being cloned and rest will be empty which you can format or partition further,
