I'll try to see if you have any System Restore points.
Go to the search box somewhere on the lower left of your screen.
Type system restore there.
You should see a list that included "create a restore point".
Poke it.
And then "system restore" in the window that appears.
And then "next" in the window that appears.
What do you see there?
