Question Cloning HDD to CF Card problem

Hi.
I have a problem with creating an image (disk copy) from a mechanical IDE44 HDD to a CompactFlash card.
The HDD itself works fine. Also, the CF card is recognized by the system, I installed MS DOS6.22 on it via VirtualBox and the IPC boots fine, so I rule out the incompatibility of the CF card with the hardware. When I clone the HDD to a CF card via Ghost or WIN32DiskImage, it displays the error "disk boot failure" or "Invalid system disk" and similar. Can anyone advise what the problem is?
IPC is Industrial PC based on AMD processor, operating system WIN95

Can you capture the card's Identify Device 512-byte data block with CrystalDiskInfo?

Select Edit -> Copy Option and tick all the boxes.

Then select Edit -> Copy and type Ctrl-V to paste the clipboard contents into your next post. Use the code box ("</>") under "More options" to preserve the fixed width font.

I suspect that the card is configured as an ATAPI device, in which case some machines won't boot from it.

Edit:

Can you show us the Partitions tab of the clone in DMDE?

https://dmde.com/

Can you also show us the same info when the card is formatted with MSDOS 6.22? I'm wondering whether this configuration has a partition (MBR) or a volume boot sector (VBR) in sector 0 (ie a "super floppy").

Ghost has two clone modes, you have to use disk to disk for it to also copy the boot block, if you are using the partition to partition method because the cf is smaller than the hdd then it will only copy the data and not the boot files.
You can also write a new bootblock on the cf card.
That's what your error messages point to, a missing boot block.

Thank you for your answers :)
CrystalDiskInfo can't see the CF card. I'm using WIN10 and USB-IDE adapter.
I using only disk to disk with Ghost.

Here are screenshots from DMDE:

The MSDOS_6 FAT volume has EBF Indicators. There is no copy (C) of the boot sector, but that's not a problem.

The "with_clone_of_HDD" FAT volume also has no copy of the boot sector, but the "F" is underlined. This means that DMDE has found a problem with the file system's metadata. These metadata would include the boot sector, the 2 copies of the FAT, and possibly the root directory.

If you don't mind uploading a ZIP-ed image file of the clone (Tools -> Copy Sectors in DMDE), I could have a look for you. You could protect your upload with a password and contact me privately, if you prefer.

Alternatively, you could try a disc-to-disc clone with DMDE using Tools -> Copy Sectors.

Edit:

I notice that you are using a JMicron bridge. Just be aware that one particular bridge has an insidious data corruption issue.

Hello.

Copying disc to disc via DMDE is unsuccessful. I get a message about a defective disk or image again.

I have basic CableExpert USB-SATA/PATA adapter, which works without problems, but can cause incorrect disk copy?

CF Card is Transcend Compact Flash 512MB 80X

HDD is Sandisk 2,5" FlashDrive 350MB, type: sd25b-350 flash drive

My mistake this is Flashdrive, not mechanic HDD as I wrote in first post. But if I make copy this Flashdrive to mechanic HDD 40GB, it is fully working in IPC. But that would be a stupid step to clone a flash drive to a mechanical HDD, which is no longer produced.
Pictures of Partitions table in DMDE are for Flashdrive.
