Cloning a 250gb sk Hynix ssd to a
2T WD blue SN580 with macrium reflect free I started the 30 day free trial the same night right before I started the cloning and it looked around 15 from when I hit start for it to reach 100% overall then it just has been stuck on 100% for over 10 hours now with no complete screen popping up
and there is no cancel option only a hide
Option to click on

only weird part I noticed is around 80 % done a window that said Local disk :)E) popped up and said not responding then I got it to open afterwards

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS information.

Disk drive(s): make, model information.

Paid or free Macrium Reflect? Source?

Open the Disk Management window and expand the window so all can be seen.

Take a screenshot and post the screenshot here via imgur (www.imgur.com).

More information needed.

I updated as much as I can untill I get home to take more pictures and get more information thank you

So what does that mean? This is the first time I’m doing this

When did you first install Macrium?

Supposedly.....what version did you install and from what source?

Did you pay anything at all?

Macrium has undergone a lot of licensing changes in the recent past. Most notably, they've gone a to subscription model.

Additionally...I think there have been restrictions placed on what used to be free or trial versions. I don't think full functionality is available unless you are paying something, at least after a certain point in time.

It may be that your possibly free or trial version has expired (at 30 days?) and that the only allowable function after that date may be image restoration rather than cloning? Or even total loss of all functions?

It's convoluted now. There are still a lot of questions buzzing around on the unofficial "Macrium forum",

I'm just guessing. All of the changes have made Macrium more complex to use successfully.

Thank you for the response I downloaded the home x free trial and I first downloaded it last night right before I started the cloning it said it was a 30 day free trial I paid nothing and the hole clone from start to it being at 100% took about 15 mins then once it hit 100% it just stopped the complete screen will not come up only weird part I noticed is around 80 % done a window that said Local disk :)E) popped up and said not responding then I got it to open afterwards

I use imaging all the time, but its been a long time since I did a Macrium clone.

So, I can't recall what you normally would see after a clone completes.

I note that it says clone successful on at least 3 partitions, but I can't see the entire screen.

Does the entire screen say "clone successful" separately for EACH AND EVERY partition on the source drive?

Are you still stuck at that screen without having shut down or rebooted?

I watched a few videos of people running cloning on Macrium it should just have a window pop up say complete. Then you hit ok and the page I’m stuck on goes away and you go back to the main program screen

It says clone successful for all 4 partition separately

I have not tried restart or shutdown yet I cannot get to the main screen for Macrium to close the program with the screen I’m stuck on up. I haven’t tried to force end or anything yet I was nervous it could mess up my new ssd this is first time doing any of this or anything like this lol.

Did you get that "window pop up"? Or not?

Did you then hit "OK"? Or not?

I'm guessing you did not even get the pop up.

In Task Manager....do you still see any processes related to Macrium?

I'm guessing you do not have backups of anything that is on the source drive?

Probably a good idea to not as of yet shut down...although you may have to as this obviously can't go on for years, months, or probably even days. You may have to take a chance on shut down though.

You need to wait for other advice, particularly regarding what are the typical last screens seen when cloning completes.
