close programs to prevent information loss? my memory is at 46% usage?

Hello, recently build this rig.. was playing a game and it suddenly came up with "close programs to prevent information loss"....however i have 8gb of corsair vengeance pro (2133) and it was only at 46% usage?
So what the hells going on?

I'm not the best answerer, but I think you are running a 32 bit OS, so it only allocates 4GB of your RAM. 46% of your RAM would pretty much be almost 4GB. You should upgrade to a 64 bit OS to prevent this.

Full info on your system please, including OS (32 or 64bit).

Yep you may have 8gb but if a 32bit os the max memory windows can use is about 3.25 gb. the rest is simply ignored.

And what you find with most people is they have a lot of programs and stuff set to auto run and load after windows has loaded.

A quick way to check is to type in windows 7 or windows 8 search msconfig
It willl show you a list of things loading after windows simply un tick them click apply.
Restart the system and it will free up some memory.
