Cm 690 II Gpu max length (980 Ti)

I've been wanting a new gpu, and i've chosen a gtx 980 ti. For the Gigabyte g1 gaming one, it apparently has varying length's online, and I haven't been able to find out which is correct, some say it is 294mm, whereas others say it is 305mm long. I have up to 304mm in my case. Either way it's going to be a close fit. Any help on the correct length would be great.

CoolerMaster states that it's maximum GPU (VGA) length is 304mm.

I just hope it'll fit, can the drive cages be removed if its longer than 304?

Not sure about that. You'll have to experiment on your own. Try using a ruler to measure from the back of the case to the drive bays. Make sure it's in centimeters or millimeters.

Okay, I should be able to take out the hard drive cage as it seems a bit too small of a space for the card. Hopefully this revitalize's my couple year old build. Thanks anyway
