I have a HP 15s and it have the same problem like this thread https://forums.tomshardware.com/thr...ksum-error-after-pc-is-off-overnight.3757823/. My laptop CMOS checksum invalid always appear when i left my laptop overnight with around 40% of battery left. Even though i just have an battery replacement, my laptop cant not start and its even dont have the red light to inform that its run out of battery. When i plug in it started and CMOS checksum is invalid. Thanks

Have you tried replacing the CMOS battery inside your laptop, as suggested in the thread? After 5 or 6 years, they often need replacing. Look for a CR2032 with a trailing black/red pigtail terminated in a small white plug. It might be soldered direct to the motherboard.

If you have a multimeter, check the CR2032 voltage. Brand new it should be 3.25V. Below around 2.5V, replace ASAP. At less than 1.0V, BIOS settings including boot drive and time + date will probably be lost.
