[SOLVED] Cmos clear/bios reset

Hello,i got my ryzen 3600 and a b450 tomahawk.After the bios update do i have to clear cmos and reset bios settings to default?If someone knows please explain me the steps i have to do.Thanks!

For exact steps, just follow MB manual, once it's flashed it will default to factory defaults.

Like @CountMike said, just open the book that came with the motherboard, the instructions are all in there. It's usually the same on every motherboard but it's possible that yours might be different. In general, there is a small circular battery that needs to be removed (usually where the warranty sticker is), and also some pins need to be moved. Again check the manual to see exactly which one.

Ok i will check it.But is it necessary after every bios update to clear cmos?

No, as I said it will boot wirh factory defaults but it's a good idea to clear it before starting.
