Hello, the past 10 months really have this issue bothered me. My PC shuts down, error is cmubdac.sys. I do have a blue snowball, but I've had it for waaay longer than the issue itself, but I have tried the solution proposed for the ones who do own a blue snowball and it has not worked. It happens pretty much 1-3 times a day, i usually spend 8-12 hours a day in front of my computer.

This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: cmusbdac.sys (C-MEDIA CMUSBDAC Audio Driver, C-MEDIA).
Google query: cmusbdac.sys C-MEDIA SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M

Thanks in advance :)

Solution
can you go to C:\WINDOWS\Minidump
copy the minidump files to another folder
from this new folder, upload the minidumps to a file sharing web site and I will get a friend to convert dumps, we can always see if there is anything else involved.
